Denman - painting of this special racehorse who retired today Day 9

Its raining today, so in my studio...wondering what I'll paint...looked at headlines...Denman has been retired.  He is the stablemate and good friend of the other horse Kauto Star mentioned in an earlier post.    However he is remaining the yard, in the box next to Kauto, until the end of Kauto's season...I suspect they will be retired together.   These two horses are both superstars from the same training yard.   check out the horse on you tube also nicknamed The Tank...you can see why!
