Only time for a quick sketch of the barns today...which will be used on a larger painting later. I really like portraying the daily routines outside of the track, how the horses really live and how hard everyone works. In art terms my work might be described as "pastoral" scenes...basically pleasant to look at like pastures.. However, I will start doing some fast paintings too...Has anyone any good photos of Greyhound?? Most seem to be black and white. He was really white in his older years which is no use, and I want to paint him flying along if possible.
