This is the reason I'm studying grey horses...I'm wanting to paint an amazing tribute painting to Greyhound or as he was known "The Grey Ghost".
Late last night I was reading about him. And from an artists observing eye, I'm think I'm learning what makes a fast horse. He was a gelding, not a stallion and was big and long. The length of his spine was what really stood out for me, looking at photos. More history later this week...
Late posting: todays painting...nothing to do with Greyhound, but I'm using whites and blue/greens... I'm always late doing my own cards for the holidays! So this evening I created something. This little Shetland is called "Toyboy" He usually hangs out with Hector and Prince. This is a detail, as it would ruin the rest for any of my friends who'll get the complete image!
