I needed a change today...keeps my painting fresh

"I like Imperfections, they let you know its a real painting, not a photograph or a copy" quote by Joe, one of the blacksmiths... He's actually so right about this.  Its the imperfections that often make a painting interesting....thank you Joe.  The Grey I posted yesterday, is another attempt by me to improve on what I attempted before.  I'll revisit when I'm not feeling Grey! I'm determined to learn from this horse, (who is named Aladdan as was engraved on his headcollar)... I don't like painting as small as this...so won't do this size again unless its just an experiment with color. 
The whole point of this blog, is that I'll be able to understand what I like and don't like, when I'm painting every day...I'm certainly beginning to find out quickly.
